New York has some many fishing opportunities to offer that most of you guys can’t even imagine. I remember my last year fishing trips to NY and plenty of beautiful memories come into my head. Besides the fact that there are hundreds and thousands of lakes and rivers of various kinds that you can fish in, there is also this amazing and unique chance to catch fish in the salt waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Lake trout, walleye, steelhead and salmon, plus many other interesting and exotic fish are waiting for you to play the lure game.

The state that we are talking about here is so large and there are so many bodies of water on its territory that sometimes it is extremely difficult to keep in touch with all the rules and laws of what to fish and what not to fish. However, if you are one of the millions residents of this state you won’t have a problem getting one and it is probably going to cost you something from $40 to $100 USD. It varies because there are different options available. Carefully think what kind of waters you need that license for and they will immediately tell you how much should you pay. When a person who doesn’t live in NY wants a license, he is going to be charged at least $70 – $80 USD. I’ll definitely write a post about getting a fishing license in New York.
